About RSL House
‘RSL House’ is the home of the Maroochydore RSL Sub Branch. The Maroochy RSL Club was going through an extensive renovation and the forward thinking Members of the Sub Branch realised the need for more room and their own identity from the Club. Up to this time the Welfare and Pensions Officers were working from one small room within the Club. Speaking with the designer the decision was to include offices and a meeting room on the lower floor of the soon to be built car park. ‘RSL House’ was opened in 1996. Since then ‘RSL House’ has been extended to include a Museum to house the many exhibits donated for safe keeping. Recently the front of the building was rendered and painted giving the Sub Branch a fresh new look for the modern League.
